Do you provide a guarantee / warranty / insurance?
Yes, we offer deposit and guarantee insurance for all the building work we do.
Do I need planning permission for a garden room?
Planning permission is generally not required as we ensure the work we do falls under Permitted Development. However, we also have a wealth of experience guiding our clients through the planning process whenever necessary.
Is there anything you’d recommend to ensure a garden room is energy efficient?
With our construction methods, you can enjoy an energy-efficient garden room that is suitable for year-round use.
What maintenance is needed for a garden room?
The garden rooms we build are practically maintenance free, meaning they are highly durable and will not require much maintenance unless you have timber cladding in which case you can opt to treat the cladding.
What is the difference between a garden room and a summer house?
A garden room is a warm and comfortable place to spend time and relax throughout the year, as opposed to summer houses that can be used only during the summer. The rooms we build are fully insulated and have standard electric heating. We offer air conditioning on request as well.
How do payments work – Do I pay everything in advance? Do you provide payment plans?
No. To confirm your slot we only require a 5% deposit. After which you can follow the payment plan throughout the construction.
Can I use the garden room all year round?
Yes, our rooms are fully insulated and come as standard with electric heating making them perfect for year-round use, no matter the season.
How do I choose the right location for my garden room?
We have the expertise to advise you and help you make an informed decision regarding the location for your garden room.
What are the design options for the exterior and interior?
We offer three main designs – Cube, Canopy and Frame. However, you are welcome to come up with out of the box ideas as we are more than happy to create bespoke solutions based on your specifications.
Do you provide a landscaping service alongside the garden room?
We collaborate with highly skilled, local landscapers who we can refer you to. We can also work together to design your dream garden room.
Do I need to prepare the garden space before you arrive?
No, we will start the garden room project right from the clearance stage till the final handover.
Do you provide a visual rendering of the design before construction starts?
Yes. For if you opt for our bespoke services, we offer a visual rendering of the space so that you can see your garden room before we get started.
How close can a garden room be to a wall, fence or obstacle?
Our expertise and construction methods allow us to build as close as 400mm from the boundary.
How long does a garden room last?
Our garden rooms are built to last, if well looked after they can have a life expectancy of 30-60+ years.
